Dr Indira Parikh
Dr Indira Parikh was a faculty at IIM-A for over 30 years and Dean from 2002 to 2005. She has also taught at INSEAD, Fontainebleau (France) and Texas A&M University.
She has specialized in organization development and design, and institution building. She has designed and offered management development programs for managerial role effectiveness, training for trainers, issues of roles and identity, and stress and self-renewal for men and women in organizations. She has been a consultant to various national and international organizations both in private and public sector. Prof. Indira Parikh is also on the board of several companies.
Dr Indira Parikh has been honoured with three life time achievement awards.
- Lifetime Achievement Award for Best Teacher in Management on January 18, 2001 in World HRD Congress held at Mumbai.
- Lifetime Achievement Award for contribution on HR on October 3, 2003 in 2nd Regional HR Conference held at Pune organized by Indira Group of Institute, Pune.
- Life Time Achievement Award by PGP Students Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (2003 – 05 batch)
Dr Kishore Mandhyan
Earlier for fifteen years (1993-2007) he served in political leadership roles of UN peacekeeping in trouble spots worldwide.
Before the UN (mid-eighties to early nineties), he taught international relations and comparative politics at Boston College, Tufts and Harvard universities. At Harvard he was awarded the prize for excellence in teaching. He has lectured/ facilitated panels at several academic, public, policy and diplomatic forums.
He was trained in the Foundation Program in Public Administration at the National Academy of Administration/ Mussorie; Program on Negotiation at Harvard; and the Sloan Foundation Workshop on the Control of Nuclear Weapons at MIT/ Cambridge.
His most recent publication is on Transitions and Turning Points in Indian Foreign Policy.
He joined the professional civil service of the Government of India as an IAS and served in the Ministry of Communications. His education is in the physical sciences and law from Bombay University; and in the social sciences and humanities at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy/ USA. Mr. Mandhyan has been recognized for life time achievement by Jai hind College, the Tufts Institute for Global Leadership, and as an international thought leader by the World Vision Institute.
Prof Venita Kaul
Prof Venita Kaul is currently Executive Chairperson of the Advisory Committee of the Center for Early Childhood Education and Development, Ambedkar University Delhi. Prior to this assignment she was Professor and Director of School of Education Studies and Founder Director of the Center for Early Childhood Education and Development (CECED), Ambedkar University, Delhi till December 2016.
Prof Kaul’s past assignments also include positions of Senior Education Specialist in The World Bank and Professor and Head of Department of Preschool and Elementary Education at National Council of Educational Research and Training, New Delhi. She has led several Education projects within and outside India and been on several National and International Committees.
Prof Kaul has a PhD from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in Psychology and has several national and international publications in Education and Child Development to her credit.
Vani Murarka
Vani Murarka has over 20 years experience in the IT industry, with strengths in Requirements Definition, Solution Architecture, Data Transformation, Data Visualization, and Website Development. She acquired her Masters in Computer Science degree from The University of Iowa, USA. Over the years she has developed a deep understanding of the technology dilemmas that an organisation can encounter, and the human challenges that can arise within a technical team, and between the technical and non-technical team. Vani Murarka is our Technology Advisor for help in resolving such issues, honed by a looking-within where the authentic Self of all can be honored to arrive at win-win solutions.
